Mud. Mud. Glorious mud!
You'd think that most ponies hate the rain, but I kinda like it. Rain means rolling in the mud and getting really filthy!
That's what this week has been like, with all the rain we've been having. You'd think that most ponies hate the rain, but I kinda like it. Rain means rolling in the mud and getting really filthy! In fact, the only thing I dislike about summer rain is that it makes my mane curly, which is just not funny at all!
Soloman on the other hand, has a real issue with rain. He's totally convinced when it rains heavily that he is going to drown, 'cos he can't swim!
Daft thing doesn't seem to realise that the puddles have never been deeper than the top of his hooves, and that if we were to have Noah's ark style flooding, that Colonel would have to start swimming a lot faster than him!
When it rains, Soloman spends all his time tip-toeing around the puddles, or hiding in the field shelter.
Even Colonel's been laughing at his antics and saying that in all the years he's been alive (which is very, very many years, let me tell you) he's never seen any horses having to swim around in their paddocks!
Anyway, I can see a big storm cloud coming over, so I'm going to go and splash in the puddles and scare Solly!
